About This Course
This course begins by answering the question, “What is project management?” Learn as Andy Crowe defines roles, tells the history, and profiles this dynamic profession. You will learn how to define the scope and goals of your project, how to create a schedule, draft a budget and integrate risk by identifying and assessing the project’s uncertainty. This course also focuses on leadership components, such as communication excellence and the very essence of project management—knowing how to lead a team.
As an introduction to project management, this course takes a closer look at diverse projects for organizations ranging from health-care providers, to the Georgia Aquarium, to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Earn 2 PDUs that can be applied towards the following certifications: PMP, CAPM, PgMP; PfMP(0.5), PMI-ACP(0.5), PMI-BA(0.5), PMI-RMP(0.75), and PMI-SP(1)
This course is also available in the bundle, 24 PDUs to Satisfy Your Talent Triangle, as well as the PDU Passport, our all-access pass to every InSite PDU course.
