About This Course
Knowing what activities are anticipated for projects over the next series of intervals, and the potential for those activities to be impacted by one or more events, is critical to the success of any project or program. While the majority of project management processes measure and describe what has happened within the initiative from “today”, backward in time, Risk Management is the only process that focuses primary attention on the future… from “today” forward. In this course, you’ll examine project/program risk in a new way, focusing on the important aspects of risk management that are often misunderstood, mistaken and confused. Earn 2 PDUs while learning to identify various types of risk, differentiate between risk and issues, and ultimately apply tools for analyzing and managing risk effectively.
PDUs can be applied towards the following certifications: PMP, CAPM, PgMP, and PMI-RMP. (Only 1.25 PDUs can be applied towards the PMI-ACP and PMI-SP, and only 1 PDU can apply towards the PfMP and PMI-PBA.)
This course is included in Eric Norman’s Series, Preparing Project and Program Leaders for Organizations of the Future. It is also available in the PDU Passport, our all-access pass to every InSite PDU course.
